The Wollemi range of wines consists of Semillon, Chardonnay and Shiraz, all estate grown and produced by Bainton Family Wines.

 

             

 

Tasting Notes

• Wollemi 2006 Semillon

Colour : Bright yellow straw, fresh and youthful.

Nose : Grassy herbaceous  freshness over lemon / lime fruit.

Palate : Full bodied, soft acid. Very appealing bold fruit flavours. Will keep but generous already.

• Wollemi 2006 Chardonnay

Colour : Full yellow straw, bright.

Nose : Ripe melon and peach, hints of fig and nectarine plus spicy oak.

Palate : Bold fully ripe fruit, generous length and richness of citrus and peach, plus creamy / cashew “nutty” development.

• Wollemi 2005 Shiraz

Colour : Dense red / black.

Nose : Bold spicy fruit – blackberry and plum, with earthy / spicy background “Terrior”.

Palate : Full bodied, soft acid. Very appealing bold fruit flavours. Will keep but generous already.
